Shipping policy

Discount Lighting offers free shipping on all orders $100 or more within the continental US. 8FT fixtures are excluded from this policy. Orders shipping to AK and HI are not eligible for free shipping. All orders qualifying for free shipping will be sent via the lowest cost carrier of our choice. All ground shipments will be sent via FedEx or UPS. All shipments with a total weight of 150lbs or more will be sent via LTL carrier on a pallet. Pallet deliveries are still able to be sent to residential addresses. Most orders will be processed the same business day, and most shipments will be delivered within 5 business days.

For orders that would otherwise qualify for free shipping, expidited shipping options are available at the customers expense.

Any sales tax on shipments is not calculated into the free shipping threshold.

Discount Lighting does not ship on Saturday or Sunday.

Discount Lighting ships all orders F.O.B. Origin. Once a shipment has left our facility, ownership transfers to the customer. All freight claims for damages and lost shipments are the responsibility of the customer. If damages, lost items, or short shipments are reported within 10 days of delivery, Discount Lighting may be able to work with the customer to replace items. Photos, video, and/or copies of the delivery receipt are required in order to have a claim considered. Any claims for damage or lost items will not be considered if made more than 10 days after delivery.
